DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ASSISTING DESIGN OF DUCT AND AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable even a person, who has neither technical knowledge nor experience, to easily generate a duct system diagram by setting branch configurations and various members of air-conditioning equipment and a duct, and to automatically calculate the air quantities of an outlet and an intake and the total pressure drop. ;SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a computer 1 for computation processing, a storage device 4, which stores design data corresponding to the intention of design, a display device 2, which displays a screen, and an input device 3 for inputting data to the display device, and displays selected data from the storage device 4 on the display device 2 and inputting data needed for necessary places of the display from the input device 3. Then, the computer 1 performs automatic computation to automatically calculate the air capacities of outlets and intakes of respective rooms of a house and the total pressure drop, thus designing a duct air-conditioning system.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
