PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a diamond coating from being overheated, which enhance the wear resistance of a burner gun and extend usage period. ;SOLUTION: This device uses a burner gun provided with a ceramic member having a wear part of a flow path coated with a diamond coating for a coal- water slurry pulverised by using a pulverising medium such as stream and the like. A gas supply line provided with a directional control valve 6 is connected to a gas supply line 23 for supplying steam 3 which is the pulverising medium and air for cooling is made to continuously flow through the gas supply line 23 from the time of stopping burner for burner extinction to the time of restarting the burner without regard to insertion or removal of the burner gun.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
