PURPOSE: To provide an access system of an optical storage device capable of economizing the power consumption by increasing the access speed of an optical disk, keeping off the crush of the disk and preventing the noise. ;CONSTITUTION: A laser beam 2 irradiating from a head 1 is reflected by a movable mirror 3, reflected by a bowl-shaped mirror 6 and attained to the access point of a medium 7. The mirror 3 is fixed to a pedestal 4, and the angle of the mirror 3 is changed in accordance with the change of angle of the pedestal 4. The laser beam 2 is attained to every part of the disk by the rotation of the mirror 3 according to the rotation of a rotary shaft 5 to make the pedestal 4 rotate. By means of changing the angle of the mirror 3 in accordance with the point desired to access while keeping the rotary shaft 5 to the rotating state, the access to the disk is efficiently carried out.
