PACKING FOR COUNTERCURRENT TYPE HIGH PRESSURE COLUMN, COLUMN HAVING THEREOF, AND USE METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing having a simple structure and which provides high fractionation efficiency by compensating unstability in a high pressure column, a column having the packing, and a use method for the column. ;SOLUTION: A packing has a plurality of bundles of strings 3, 3' extended in the direction of the axis 35 of a column and each string 3, 3' has a structure comprising a plurality of stacked packing elements 2:21, 21', 22, 23 each of which is constituted of a plurality of layers 10 of lamellae 1. A plurality of the elements 2 which belong to different strings and neighbor mutually compose packing sections 4 extended in the direction at right angles to the axis 35 of the column. A side part boundary of an intermediate space 100 formed between mutually neighboring two lamellae 1 is limited by lamellae 1, which are lamellae 1 extended in the direction at right angles to the intermediate space 100 and belong to neighboring packing elements in one and the same packing section 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
