METHOD FOR PROCESSING MULTIPLE DATA BASE TRANSACTIONS IN SAME PROCESS FOR REDUCING PROCESS OVERHEAD AND REDUNDANT RETRIEVAL FROM DATA BASE SERVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce redundant retrieval from a data base server and to reduce process overhead by permitting a data base access program processing a data base transaction to share a retrieved data base object for the data base transaction. SOLUTION: A network 199 connects a data base server computer system 100 to multiple data base access computer systems containing data base access computer systems 130 and 160. The data base computer system 100 maintains the content of a data base and gives service to requests from the data base access computer systems 130 and 160 for retrieving the update object stored in the data base. Thus, the process overhead and redundant retrieval from the data base server are reduced while read repetitive transaction separation is still maintained.
