PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely cool bearings, particularly the outer ring. ;SOLUTION: A shaft 3 of a hot roller motor protrudes from a bracket 20a and is supported by ball bearings 4 provided in a bearing housing 1, so as to rotate freely. A heating coil 12 is provided between a roller main part 14 and the bearing housing 1. A heat-insulating cylinder 30 is provided over the outer circumference of the shaft 3, so as to form an enclosed chamber 33. Oil mist paths 34 and 35 are formed in the bearing housing 1. Oil mist is supplied to an oil mist spouting outlet 10a through the oil mist path 34, the enclosed chamber 33 and the oil mist path 35, and the oil mist is spouted out of the spouting outlet 10a against the ball bearings 4. The heat transmission from a heating coil 13 to an outer ring 4b of the ball bearings 4 is cut off by the heat insulating cylinder 30 and the oil mist flowing through the enclosed chamber 33.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
