SUSPENDING STRING FITTING OF PICTURE FRAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optionally change a fixing position of a suspending string fitting to frames on the user side according to an installing condition of a picture frame or the like by fixing the base end of a suspending string fitting piece to a fixing member fixed to the opening edge of a cross-sectional C-shaped groove opening on the reverse of the frames. ;SOLUTION: A suspending string fitting 5 to fasten a suspending string 16 is arranged in opposed frames 1A and 1A, and in the suspending string fitting 5, a plate-like fixing plate 51 having a width wider than its opening width is inserted into a cross-sectional C-shaped groove 15 formed in the frames 1A. This fixing plate 51 is fixed at the opening edge of the groove 15 by a machine screw 53 screw-fitted to it, and in that case, it is constituted by sandwiching the base end of a string-like suspending string fitting piece 52 formed in a loop shape by folding back the tip between the machine screw 53 and an intermediate piece. A material having the same construction material and shape as the suspending string 6 fastened to this can be used as the suspending string fitting piece 52, but it is desirable that a flat string such as a flat twine having a width wider than an opening width of the groove 15 is used to prevent the suspending string fitting piece 52 housed in the groove 15 from jumping out of the groove 15 when it is not used.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
