PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To load a patient on a wheelchair and enable the person to go up and down the narrow stairs alone in a safe operation by repeating extension and contraction of legs by guide of guide plates. ;SOLUTION: Rotational wheels 4, 5 provided with five legs are provided as a function for going up and down the stairs. The rotational wheels 4, 5 are interlocked with pins attached to the legs of the rotational wheels 4, 5 by the operation of guide plates 7 mounted on the sides of the rotational wheels 4, 5 with the slow rotation of shafts 2, 3, extension and contraction of the legs are forcibly repeated, and the rotational wheels go up and down the stairs.
