PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce deviation between an outlet temp. and target value of a hot finishing mill by conducting the feed back control, predicting variation in rolling speed, varying the number of infections of strip coolant and conducting cooling control of a rolling stock. ;SOLUTION: At starting the hot rolling mill, a strip coolant injection setter confirms, at steps S10, 20, 30, that a strip is an object for feedback control in referring to the information set and conducts decision for a feedback completing point in referring to speed pattern. Next, a feedback control part is in start waiting state in a step S40, in a step S50, it confirms for after feedback start and after a distance L, it proceeds to a step 60. At last, in a step 140, the feedback control part interrupts feedback control unit the most upstream injection change position passes FDT measuring point, it proceeds to a step 150, feedback control completed position is discriminated and then the processing is completed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
