PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject method which enables, in particular, the sol production process to be simplified by crystallizing at high temperature the effluent from the reaction of a mixture of tetraalkylorthosilicate and tetraalkylorthotitanate sealed in a reaction vessel with an aqueous template solution added to the mixture, and then firing the solid product after it is separated. SOLUTION: This method adds an aqueous template solution to a mixture of tetraalkylorthosilicate and tetraalkylorthotitanate sealed in a reaction vessel, and supplies the effluent to an autoclave without distilling off the alcohol produced as a result of the hydrolysis, where a solid product is crystallized at 100 deg.C under a self-developed pressure; then separates, washes and fires the solid product at 400 to 1000 deg.C, to obtain the objective titanium-containing molecular sieve whose composition is shown by the formula (SiO2 )x 1-x (TiO2 )x (0.0001=x=0.03).
