ASSIGNMENT AND ITS RELEASE OF TRANSMITTING RESOURCE IN PRIVATE BRANCH BRANCHING DISTRIBUTION SERVICE SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assign transmitting resources and to release the assignment by assigning a frequency and a time slot to a calling in response to an idle signal after off-hooking and synchronizing to a frequency to which the home device unit of a customer is assigned to. ;SOLUTION: An LMDS system 10 receives a request to the delivery of a calling from a central station 18 or one of telephone sets 20, decides whether the transmitting resources are available to the calling in response to the request for the delivery of the calling like the above and when one of the resources is available, assigns specific time slot and frequency for delivery. During delivery, a remote terminal 12 executes normal calling processing with the station 18 and in response to one of an on-hook signal and a disconnection signal, the system 10 executes the same disconnected call processing routine. During the disconnecting processing, the arrangement of the time slot and the frequency is released and these transmitting resources can be utilized again.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
