PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily approach a lesion and to facilitate treatment and nursing by dividing a bottom into plural, switchably connecting a bottom elevation mechanism respectively to the bottoms positioned on the head side and foot side of a bed and providing an elevation operation mechanism for supplying driving power to the bottom elevation mechanism on the head side or foot side of the bed. ;SOLUTION: At the time of raising a back bottom 2a positioned on the side of the headboard H of this bed 1, the handle part 9b of a manual operation mechanism 9 is rotated and an activation arm 9a is stretched in an axial direction. Thus, the tip of a swing link 4 is rotated and displaced to the left and linked stays 7 and 8 are both linked and moved to the left. Then, when the linked stay 7 is displaced to the left further and the connection part of an operation arm 5 is abutted to the right end of the oblong hole 7a of the linked stay 7, the attachment shaft of the operation arm 5 of the back bottom 2a is pushed in and the back bottom 2a is tilted upwards. On the other hand, at the time of erecting the side of a the foot bottom 2d of the bed 1, the handle part 9b is rotated to an opposite side and the driving arm 9a is moved back.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
