PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To industrially advantageously prepare water-containing combustion ash or a combustion ash slurry considered to be difficult to prepare because of a mixture a hydrophobic substance and a hydrophilic substance. ;SOLUTION: Petroleum type combustion ash and water are mixed to prepare wafter-containing combustion ash or a combustion ash slurry wherein a ratio of water is 30 pts.wt. or more per 100 pts.wt. of combustion ash through a process gradually increasing a ratio of water to combustion ash. In this case, combustion ash and water are continuously supplied to a mixture wherein a ratio of water is 5-15 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of combustion ash within a mixer or combustion ash and water are supplied into the mixer applying tornado or vortex flow to matter to be treated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
