PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the temperature rise of a converter, to prevent producing a noise and the degradation of NF and to improve electric characteristics by covering a feed horn with a cover and arranging a heating element on the upper part with a prescribed clearance. ;SOLUTION: The converter 12 and the feed horn 14 are attached to an LNB arm 10. Also, the feed horn 14 is covered with a feed horn cover 16 and the heating element 18 for which a nichrome wire is embedded in silicone rubber is arranged on the upper part. In this case, the heating element 18 is arranged so as not to interrupt reception at the opening part of the feed horn 14 and further, the clearance of 0.5-1.5cm is provided from the feed horn 14. By providing the clearance, the flow out of heat is eliminated, the temperature rise of the converter is eliminated, the production of the noise and the degradation of the NF are prevented and the efficiency of the electric characteristics is improved. Also, the constant energizing state of the heating element is made possible and the feed horn and the feed horn cover are not changed by the heat even when an outdoor air temperature is high.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
