PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize highly reliable distribution in accordance with the request by a user by obtaining version information of video on demand software of a terminal equipment and automatically updating software of video on demand based on the information. ;SOLUTION: A path setting request message between the equipments is transferred to the information acquirement means 12 of an information processor 1. The information acquirement means 12 extracts version information from the received message and outputs it to a collation means 14. Inputted information is collated with information in a version storage part 31 so as to judge them. When the version loes not match, terminal software main body in a software accumulation part 21 is transmitted to the user's terminal 4. The terminal 4 restarts terminal software after received software is introduced. Then, the communication control means 41 of the terminal 4 executes communication based on a communication rule with the communication control means 11 of the information processor 1.
