PH ADJUSTMENT OF SUPPLIED SLUDGE IN DEHYDRATION TREATMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically adjust pH of sludge supplied to a dehydrator. SOLUTION: Pipelines 7, 9 sending an org. flocculant and an inorg. flocculant are connected to the sludge supply pipeline 5 from a sludge tank 2 to a dehydrator 1 and a pH meter 11 is arranged to the intermediate place of the connection part of the pipeline 9 and the sludge supply pipe 5 and the dehydrator 1 to measure pH of sludge and the discharge amt. of a supply pump sending an inorg. flocculant is automatically controlled on the basis of the measured value to adjust the pH of supplied sludge properly.
