PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry a part according to a changed layout by self-guiding it according to information related to a desired carrying passage of an inputted automated guided vehicle while detecting a recognizing body group arranged by being two-dimensionally divided on a floor from a carrying source of the part by detecting bodies arranged on the automated guided vehicle. ;SOLUTION: An automated guided vehicle 901 has plural wheels 1501 and 1502 controlled on driving by a control device 801 to travel along a desired carrying passage. The automated guided vehicle 901 travels on a selected desired carrying passage by controlling driving of the wheels 1501 and 1502 by the control device 801 according to selected desires carrying passage data while recognizing recognizing bodies regularly and two-dimensionally juxtaposed on a floor up to a carrying destination of a part from a carrying source of the part by detecting bodies 902, 903, 904 and 905.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
