NOVEL NICKEL COMPLEX AND NEAR-INFRARED ABSORPTION RESIN MOLDED PRODUCT FOR CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a novel bis(1,2-bis(2-methoxyphenyl)-1,2-ethylene dithiolate) nickel complex which gives a near-infrared absorption resin composition for an exterior building material, when this compound is kneaded in a resin. ;SOLUTION: This novel compound is bis(1,2-bis(2-methoxyphenyl)-1,2-ethylene dithiolate)nickel complex. When it is kneaded in a resin with heat, this compound becomes almost colorless blue and is useful as an infrared ray-cutting resin molded products for exteriors for example, sky light, shop roof, arcade or roof of bus stop and as resin molded products for absorbing near-infrared rays for building materials. This compound is prepared by reaction of o-anisoin with diphosphorus pentasulfide in a solvent such as dioxane to form an intermediate of a phosphorus compound of formula III and followed by reaction of the intermediate with an aqueous solution of nickel chloride (II) with heat.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
