PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a conjugate false twisted yarn capable of forming and increasing a bent crimp structure having a large texture of woven fabric by heat treatment of a woven fabric finishing process and of retaining high bulkiness even if subjected to compression finishing, as calender processing and to provide a method for producing the conjugate false twisted yarn. ;SOLUTION: Two or more polyester multifilament yarns different in elongation are doubled and false twisted to give a conjugate false twisted yarn comprising a core yarn and a side yarn. The core yarn is a highly shrinkable polyester yarn copolymerized with 5-18mol% of a copolymerization component, the difference in length between the core yarn and the side yarn is 10-45%, the percentage crimp is 0.1 to 15% and the heat shrinkage percentage (boiling water shrinkage percentage + 180°C dry heat shrinkage percentage) is 10-75%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
