REWORKED MULTI-FUNCTIONAL BATHTUB, AND SYSTEM DEVICE THEREOF FOR THE AGED AND PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED PERSON

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathtub in which the aged, or a physically handicapped person can be bathed without feeling coldness even when it is cold, and in which the person can be bathed as he/she is seated on a wheelchair or a seat provided with casters to reduce labor on a care person in environments of a general social life. ;SOLUTION: A bathtub 1 which is currently in use is partly worked to provide an entrance through which a person can enter the bathtub 1 as he/she is seated on a wheelchair or a seat provided with casters, and a hot air discharging handrail 6 is disposed inside the bathtub 1, so that inside of the bathtub 1 is heated by hot air supplied from a hot air blowing device. In bathing as he/she is seated on the wheelchair or seat provided with casters, the upper part of his/her body cannot be immersed in water, so hot air shower is applied from over his/her head to heat him/her. During bathing, discharged hot air can be utilized for hot air jet massage, and after bathing, it can be utilized as a hot air drier to dry water attached to his/her body, while hair after it is washed is dried by a suction direr. For health control, the scales on which his/her weight can be weighed as he/she is seated are provided at a similar height to that of the wheelchair.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
