PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent diffusion water from stagnating not to reduce water turbine efficiency, by providing a structure in which the diffusion water is flown downward through a part between an outer first water guide and an inner second water guide. SOLUTION: A horizontal shaft type all around flow impulse water turbine is equipped with a water guide 20. The water guide 20 has a two-layers structure which has an outer first water guide 21 and an inner second water guide 22. Because diffusion water which is injected from upper side of the outer peripheral of a runner 5 and diffused around is flown downward through a part between the first water guide 21 and the second water guide 22, the diffusion water flows downward smoothly without stagnating even when amount of the flow is much. Therefore, even near maximum output area, the diffusion water dose not become resistance against the runner 5 or reduce water turbine efficiency. In addition, a housing 8 can be designed and manufactured small combining with the water guide 20. Because the diffusion water does not collide with the housing 8 and flows smoothly, water flow noise can be also reduced.
