DEVICE FOR ANALYZING BALL HITTING SOUND OF GOLF CLUB HEAD AND GOLF PLAY EXCERSIZING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effect an objective evaluation of the quality of hitting by providing a means for collecting a ball hitting sound of a golf club head, a means for frequency analyzing the sound collected, and a means for outputting the result of frequency analysis. ;SOLUTION: A microphone 2 with a good directivity to collect the ball hitting sound of a golf club head is provided. An output of the microphone 2 is amplified by an amplifier of a gain 40 dB or so type, and then input and recorded as acoustic data in a digital audio tape recorder(DAT) 4. The accoustic data reproduced from the DAT 4 is taken in a CPU 52 via an input interface 5 of a computer 5 and subjected to a frequency analysis by the high speed Fourier conversion and the like. The result of frequency analysis is displayed on a monitor 54 through an output interface 53 and output to a printer 6. Accordingly, an easy objective evaluation on ball hitting sound of the club head can be made.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
