DEVICE FOR TESTING FOUR-POINT BENDING OF PIPING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply conduct four-point bending test of piping by using existing equipment and simply disassemble the device for storage when testing is unnecessary. ;SOLUTION: A pair of movable clamp devices 19 and 20 for holding pipe end are provided on the upper side of a vibration table 17 so as to hold and fix both the ends of a piping 18 to be tested. Then a pair of movable clamp devices 21 and 22 for holding intermediate part of piping are provided with a specified interval in distance between the clamp devices 19 and 20 so as to hold and fix two points on the intermediate part of the piping 18, and they are secured to a fixed part 27 in the outside of the table 17 by means of a rod 26 and a fixing member 28 extending to the vibration direction 25 of the table 17.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
