MANUFACTURE OF FLUID STORAGE TANK UTILIZING NONUSE SILO

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost by a method wherein a bedrock is formed to the bottom of the hole of a ground surface and the cylindrical wall member of a silo not used is inserted into the hole and placed and fixed onto the bedrock. ;SOLUTION: In the silos having structure, in which a plurality of cylindrical wall members 1 molded of FRPs, etc., are superposed and a roof is placed on the cylindrical wall members 1, the partial cylindrical wall members 1 are acquired by overhauling the silos not used. A hole is dug to a ground surface, and concrete is placed on the bottom of the hole and a bedrock 4 is formed. The cylindrical wall member 1 is inserted into the hole and placed on the bedrock 4, the lower-end flange section of the cylindrical wall member 1 is fixed onto the bedrock 4 by bolts 5, and an opening between the lower edge section of the cylindrical wall member 1 and the bedrock 4 is caulked. Consequently, a fluid storage tank is completed. When the fluid storage tank must be deepened, a plurality of the cylindrical wall members 1 are superposed vertically by using these cylindrical wall members 1. Accordingly, since the fluid storage tank can be manufactured by utilizing the cylindrical wall members obtained by overhauling the silos not used, the waste of resources is saved, and cost can be reduced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
