PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the execution and stopping of respective sequences necessary for the repairing work with respect to an instrument by a carrying remote controller upon repairing the instrument and improve the working efficiency of the repairing work by a method wherein a first and second conversion tables are provided with conversion tables compatible to a plurality of kinds of gas instruments. ;SOLUTION: A remote control simulator 30 should be capable of communicating with a plurality of kinds of hot-water suppliers and remote controllers and, therefore this simulator 30 stores a commanding binary data conversion table 40, a modulation waveform table 41, a reference value table 42 for demodulation and a binary data/ indicating data conversion table 43 into the memory medium thereof with respect to every makers or every kinds of machines when an internal code data or a communication specification is different even in products made by the same maker. In this case, the remote control simulator 30 modulates the internal binary data into the communication waveform through a software. Further, the binary data, demodulated from the operation of comparing with the reference value, is converted into an indicating data in accordance with the binary data/indicating data conversion table 43 and is indicated in a monitor picture 32.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
