PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burr removing device of a screw press type dehydrator capable of automatically and certainly removing burr protruding to the outer peripheral surface of a barrel within a short time. ;SOLUTION: In a burr removing apparatus for removing burr (f) protruding to an outer peripheral surface 50c of a barrel 50 of a screw press type dehydrator, a first nozzle 12 provided so as to be movable along the axial direction of the barrel 50 and jetting ultrahigh pressure water to the outer peripheral surface of the barrel in the lateral direction of the barrel 50 while oscillated up and down, and a second nozzle 22 (22a, 22b) provided so as to be movable along the axial direction of the barrel 50 and jetting ultrahigh pressure water to the outer peripheral surface of the barrel from the oblique upward direction of the barrel 50 are provided. An oscillation center 12a of the first nozzle 12 is offset to the lower side from a center 52a of the barrel 50.
