PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly transfer an information pattern to an optical information medium by applying a magnetic field to a substrate side, heating a metal layer, radiating high heat only from an information pattern on the metal layer by a difference between the individual thermal conductivities of the metal layer and substrate. ;SOLUTION: A thin film layer 2 is formed on a surface of a substrate 1, and data to be recorded on an optical medium are recorded on the thin film. After recording, a latent image on the thin film is expressed by holes called pits, and an information pattern is formed on the thin film 2. Next, a conductive layer 3 is formed covering the information pattern surface, and the layer 3 is supplied with power as an electrode to deposit Ni on the surface of the conductive layer 3. A metal layer 4 information pattern is made to be formed to obtain an optical information recording medium. Here, high heat is made to be radiated only from the information pattern on the metal layer 4 by a difference between the individual thermal conductivities of the metal layer and substrate by placing an optical information medium 11 on a substrate, rendering a heat generation source 12 generate heat, letting a magnetic field generation source generate a magnetic field, and applying heat to the metal layer 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
