PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a residue adherent to a scraper main body in dewatering to be removed by separating the scraper main body from a filter cloth by an air cylinder at the end of a dewatering process. SOLUTION: By sending air to one side of an air cylinder 1 during the operation of a dewatering machine, a scraper device rotates around a pin 23 to take a closing position, a scraper main body 2 slightly contacts an outer filter cloth 113 which is spread on a roll 4. In this process, the pressing force of the scraper main body 2 is adjusted by operating bolts and nuts attached to a coil spring. During the stop of the dewatering machine, by sending air to the other side of the air cylinder 1, the scraper device rotates around the pin 23 in the reverse direction so that the scraper main body 2 moves to an opening position separated from the roll 4. Also, the scraper main body of the scraper device installed on the cake outlet side of an inner filter cloth is operated similarly.
