PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent attaching dirt in low-priced constitution. ;SOLUTION: A light emitting tube 1 is manufactured by sealing a discharge gas G in a tube made of ultraviolet ray transmitting type fluororesin, then pinch-sealing both ends. A plurality of light emitting tubes 1-1-1-9 are arranged in parallel in one pipe 4, and an induction coil 2 is wound around the pipe 4. High frequency electric power is applied to the induction coil 2 from a high frequency power source 3, and the discharge gas within the light emitting tube 1 is discharged by a magnetic field from the induction coil 2, and the light emitting tube 1 is lit. Fluid 5 such as water and an organic solvent flows in the pipe 4, and ultraviolet rays are irradiated to the fluid 5 to conduct sterilization or polymerization.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
