PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the combustion in heating and to prevent the wear of brick due to initial slapping by making the supply of pulverized coal to a burner constant and eliminating the deposition of coating, channeling of pulverized coal in an air duct, clogging of the burner with pulverized coal and nonuniform delivery at the tip. ;SOLUTION: Pulverized coal is continuously and uniformly extruded from a hopper 12 by a measuring screw conveyor 20. The pulverized coal pressure is made constant by the uniform discharge. The pulverized coal is weighed by an impact line 21, mixed with air by an ejector 16 through a rotary valve 16 and supplied to a burner 11 from six coal feed pipes 15. The pulverized coal is circumferentially supplied into a rotary kilm from twelve spouts of the burner 11 in a uniform amt. (uniform concn.) to form a combustion flame. The pulverized coal is uniformly discharged and centrifugally supplied into the kiln in a uniform concn. in this way, and hence the combustion is improved and stabilized in the kilin.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
