FERTILIZATION IN RAISING SEEDLING METHOD BY SEEDING USING RAISING SEEDLING VESSEL AND SEEDING AND FERTILIZING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently carry out a fertilization in raising seedling operation by seeding so as to reduce additional fertilizer application work and fertilizer cost and make raising seedling favorable, by using a raising seedling vessel holding a mixture of bed soil and fertilizer efficacy-controlling type fertilizer lumps. ;SOLUTION: A raising seedling vessel 1 under transfer is fed with bed soil 5 from above, the upper surface of the bed soil 5 is then fed with seeds 6, and the upper face of the seeds 6 is, in turn, fed with covering soil 7 followed by sowing seeds, which are then subjected to raising seedling in the vessel 1, and thereafter, the raising seedling is continued for a specified period, and the resultant raised seedlings are transplanted. In this raising seedling method by seeding described above, a fertilization is carried out by using the raising seedling vessel 1 holding a mixture of the bed soil and fertilizer efficacy-controlling type fertilizer lumps 10 capable of controlling the leaching time of fertilizer components and the amounts of the fertilizer components to be leached. It is preferable that the bed soil 5 is fed in several portions so as to afford plural layers, the fertilizer lumps 10 are fed in between the respective bed soil 5 layers, subsequently the seeds 6 are fed, and the upper face of the seeds 6 is, in turn, fed with the covering soil 7.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
