PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a transport pipe from getting blocked by excavated sludge. ;SOLUTION: Multiple values 10 are placed at an optional at an optional interval in a transport pipe 8. The valves 10 are closed when the suction force of the transport pipe 8 is higher than a prescribed value during normal excavated sludge delivery and opened when suction force is lower than the prescribed value because vacuum pressure is lower due to the blocked transport pipe 8. When the valves 10 are opened, air 11 is supplied to the transport pipe 8 and a sludge plug 12 of a prescribed form is formed, catching the air 11a in the transport pipe 8. And of those multiple valves 10, only those near parts where suction force has decreased are opened.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
