PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an post transfer sheet guide member capable of stably performing an excellent paper sheet guide as well as excellent transferring, and moreover preventing image defect from being caused by the paper sheet leading end part being separated from the photoreceptor after transfer jumped up at the time of butting to the guide member and brought into re-contact with a photoreceptor. ;SOLUTION: The height of upper most section of the post transfer guide member 5 is specified, while an inclined section 52 of a rising slope is formed near the transfer corona electrifier, and a guide line of the inclined section 52 is set in a state of parallel corresponding to a specific tangent L or space between the tangent L becoming wider as coming upward. The tangent L is, when assuming the intersection between an extension line of a guide line of a prior transferring guide member 4 and the photoreceptor surface as A, the intersection between the line that connects this point A and the lower most point B of the photoreceptor surface, and the inclined section 52 as C, and the intersection between the line that connects this point C and a rotary central point D of the photoreceptor, and the photoreceptor surface as E, the tangent of the photoreceptor surface at the point E.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
