PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing property-evaluating method by using an artificially fouled cloth in an image analyzing system, and an image analyzing system thereof for particularly recognizing automatically sheets of artificially fouled cloth and evaluating a washing property while correcting the measured value regarding the evaluating method of a washing property by measuring artificially fouled cloth by using a scanner. ;SOLUTION: The artificially fouled cloth before washing is scanned by a scanner to be stored as an image file (S1), then an evaluation experiment is executed by predetermined experimental condition (S2), a post-treatment is implemented of artificially fouled cloth after washing (S3), the artificially fouled cloth after washing is scanned by a scanner to be stored as another image file (S4), the image file of the artificially fouled file before washing is outputted on the monitor of a computer to calculate an average of each R, G, B (S5), and the difference in hue values is calculated from the difference in the calculated R, G, B before and after washing to evaluate a washing property (S6).;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
