Then, the optical fiber 7 in which the pass loss is increased in such a way is connected to a connection terminal 11 in which the output level of the signal light of an optical branching coupler 3 is larger. Thus, both output levels of signal lights to be outputted from respective output terminals 11, 12 of optical fibers 7, 8 for respective output terminals are matched with each other by transmitting respective signal lights to be outputted from the optical coupler 3 to the optical fibers 7, 8 for plural output terminals.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
