PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the helping tool of a Western-style toilet for a handicapped person, which is easily arranged regardless of the shape and the arrangement place of a water tank without a play at the time of usage and by which sitting-down and standing-up motions are smoothly executed by oneself. ;SOLUTION: This helping tool is constituted of leg parts 9 arranged in the left and right of the Western-style toilet on a floor so as to be extended horizontally in a front and rear direction in a Western-style toilet where a directly fitted water tank is provided in a rear part or a corner-fitting water tank is in a rear corner, vertical frames consisting of left and right upper pipes 6 and lower pipes 7 being height adjustment possible, which are erected from almost the center of a rear half part in the leg parts, a connecting frame 4 which is positioned in the rear upper part of the toilet and also in a water tank front part and extended in a horizontal direction from the left and right upper pipes 6 so as to connect the left and right upper pipes 6 and left and right arm rests 5 extending forewards in the horizontal direction from the left and right upper pipes 6 upper end parts. Then, it is the Western-type toilet helping tool 1 where rotary parts 3 is fitted to a horizontal shaft provided in left and right vertical frame upper end parts and the arm rests 5 being freely rotatable from a front horizontal position to a vertical position are projectingly provided in the rotary parts 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
