PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the mixed amount of metallic fibers simply and correctly at a construction site without breaking a structure, by detecting by means of a receiving coil a magnetic flux generated at a surface of the steel fiber reinforced concrete structure by a transmission coil. ;SOLUTION: A magnetic flux generated at a transmission coil 3 is changed due to influences of shielding properties of metallic fibers 2 mixed in a steel fiber reinforced concrete(SFRC) structure 1. The magnetic flux change is detected by a receiving coil 4. The mixed amount of metallic fibers can be correctly measured by detecting the magnetic flux change resulting from the metallic fibers mixed in the SFRC structure. Specifically, the magnetic flux generated at a surface of the SFRC structure 1 by the transmission coil 3 is detected by the receiving coil 4 after a phase is adjusted. A line for calibration of the mixed amount of the metallic fibers obtained from peak values through an integration of the detected waveform is calibrated in accordance with conditions of the SFRC structure. Even when a type and an installation method of the metallic fibers differ, the line can be simply corrected in accordance with the conditions.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
