PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the greening construction of a bridge girder by which the greening of the bridge girder such as a high road bridging even can be performed even without using soil. SOLUTION: This method for the greening construction of a bridge girder 1 such as a road high bridging is to wind a thin-layer drainage mat 2 around the bridge girder 1, attach a synthetic fiber mat 3 for a vegetational substrate having gaps filled with a mixture containing plant seeds (a) and a fertilizer onto the thin-layer drainage mat 2 and further cover the surface 3a thereof with a netlike material 4.
