PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy and short-time execution, and improve a working efficiency by a method wherein a substrate material, obtained by mixing a specified rate of cement into acrylic solution, is applied on the surface of a base member of expanded styrol and after the substrate material is cured, the expanded styrol is removed with solvent through the opening of the surface of expanded styrol. ;SOLUTION: A glass fiber mesh 3 is provided on the surface of a base material 1, consisting of expanded styrol, while substrate material 4 is applied on the base material 1 and the glass fiber mesh 3 by troweling or spraying. The substrate material 4 is produced by mixing 10-20wt.% of powder cement into liquid acrylic resin while an opening 5 is formed so that a part of base material 1 is exposed. The base material is left to stand for about one whole day and night under this condition to form a coating layer 11 by drying the substrate material 4. When the coating layer 11 is dipped in the solvent of expanded styrol, the base material 1 of the expanded styrol is resolved through the opening 5 and when the base material 1 is removed, the removed part becomes hollow to give an external facing material for building.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
