LARGE POWER BROAD BAND TERMINATOR FOR K BAND AMPLIFIER COUPLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an ultra-wide band large power load and terminator by configuring the specific terminator with an absorbing element placed on a microstrip line, a resistive terminator coupled with the microstrip line and a matching circuit network between the resistive terminator and the absorbing element. ;SOLUTION: The terminator 10 is made up of a microstrip line 12 having an input terminal 11, includes an absorbing element 13 placed to the microstrip line on a board, and includes a medium band matching circuit network 14 and a resistive terminator 15. The absorbing element 13 is made of, e.g. an optional carbon group absorbing material, and the resistive terminator 15 is made up of preferably a standard chip resistor. The resistive terminator 15 is matched to provide an excellent reflection attenuation at a low frequency. The medium band matching circuit network 14 provide a reflection attenuation of at least 15dB for a frequency of 8-15GHz to improve the attenuation of the resistive terminator 15, and the absorbing element 13 provides an excellent reflection attenuator at a frequency of 15GHz or over.
