HAIR COSMETIC COMPOSITION HAVING SUPPRESSING EFFECT ON DANDRUFF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hair cosmetic composition capable of manifesting excellent antidandruff effects by using a specific compound usually known as a preservative as an antidandruff fungal agent. ;SOLUTION: This hair cosmetic agent composition comprises an iodopropynyl butylcarbamate represented by formula I in an amount of 0.001-20wt.% based on the total weight of the composition. Pyrithione zinc is further preferably added in an amount of 0.001-5wt.% based on the total weight of the composition to the system. An N-acylethylenediamine triacetate represented by formula II [(n) is 10-18] is preferably added in an amount of 0.01-20wt.% based on the total weight of the composition thereto in order to prevent precipitates of the pyrithione zinc from forming. A chelating agent such as ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid or diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid in an amount of 0.01-10wt.% is preferably further contained in the system.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
