SOIL IMPROVEMENT MATERIAL FOR ORGANIC-RICH SOIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a soil improvement material which has excellent effects on solidifying a poor ground comprising an org.-rich soil by compounding a specified amt. of coal ash into a solidifying agent mainly comprising cement and contg. gypsum and/or slag. ;SOLUTION: 50-90wt.% solidifying agent is compounded with 10-50wt.% coal ash. The solidifying agent is pref. one mainly comprising cement and contg. gypsum and slag. Gypsum used is anhydrous gypsum, gypsum hemihydrate, gypsum dihydrate, etc., and blast furnace slag or molten waste slag is used as the slag. A pref. cement-gypsum solidifying agent is one contg. 1-30wt.% gypsum, and a pref. cement-gypsum-blast furnace slag solidifying agent is one contg. 1-30wt.% gypsum and 17-70wt.% blast furnace slag. A common pulverized coal ash or fluidized bed ash is used as the coal ash. A BL specific surface area of 2,500m² or higher is pref. This soil improvement material is suitably used for improving muck contg. 50wt.% or higher org. substance.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
