PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the phenomenon that large powder stagnates in a fluidized bed chamber by executing the movement of powdery raw materials between plural fluidized bed chambers preferentially from the relatively large powder raw materials at the time of successively subjecting the powdery raw materials to reduction between these chambers. ;SOLUTION: The powder raw materials A contg. powder ores or partly reduced powdery ores are fed into the first fluidized bed chamber 20a where the fluidized bed 24a is formed by the upward current of the reducing gas introduced via a gas diffusion plate 19a from a gas introducing line 21a. The fluidized bed 24a moves through communicating paths 25a, 25b to the next fluidized bed chambers 20b, 20c where the fluidized beds 24b, 24c are formed by the reducing gas. The reduced powder B is taken out of a discharge port 26. The communicating paths 25a, 25b connecting the respective fluidized bed chambers 20a, 20b, 20c are disposed in the positions deeper than the surfaces of the fluidized beds 24a, 24b, 24c and, therefore, the relatively large powder liable to stagnate in the lower parts of the fluidized beds 24a, 24b are preferentially moved to the ensuing fluidized bed chambers.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
