PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve direct currency capacity and make synthesis ratio free. SOLUTION: RF coil 100 for MRI is composed of a first and second RF coil having a respective symmetrical shape to a symmetry plane and connected together with a connecting point applied on the symmetry plane. First lead out part is drawn out from the first lead out point on the first RF coil and from the second lead out point on the second RF coil while the second lead out part is applied symmetrically opposite to the first lead out part with the symmetry plane between. Phase of the output voltage VA of the first lead out part is shifted 'plus theta' by a phase unit 54a while phase of the output voltage VB of the second lead out part is shifted 'minus theta' by a phase unit 54b. A zero degree combiner 56 is to synthesize output signals from the phase units 54a, 54b and send it to MRI processing unit. Zero degree elements and 90 degree elements of NMR signals are quadrature synthesized in synthesis ration 1: tan theta}. RF coil as well as lead out part and wiring are enabled to symmetrically set to improve direct currency capacity. Synthesis ratio is freely altered by theta.
