PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air discharge/water discharge device for simplifying piping by performing air discharge and water discharge by the same pipe line in the breeding device of laboratory animals such as a mouse and a rat. ;SOLUTION: For this air discharge/water discharge device 6, an opening part 29 opened downwards is provided on the base part side of an outer pipe 26 provided on an automatic water supplier 5 and inserted into a box-shaped cage 3, a branching pipe 32 is fixed downwards to the opening part 29, a communication pipe 33 is connected to the branching pipe 32 in a horizontal direction and an air discharging machine is connected to the end of a vertical direction discharge pipe 34 connected to the end part of the communication pipe 33.
