ELECTRONIC CASH METHOD WITH TRUST INSTITUTE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee privacy and to prevent illegal usage as well by performing the payment processing of a user while using a signature key prepared by the user. ;SOLUTION: The device for a third institute (trust institute 100), the device of an institute (bank 200) for managing user information (account information), the device for a person (user 300) to receive the issue of electronic cash and the device for an institute (retail shop 400) to receive cash from the user 300 are connected through a communication line. When the user is to receive the issue of electronic cash among these devices, the issue processing of electronic cash is performed. When the user 300 is to pay an amount (y) (yx) at the retail shop 400 while using electronic cash C of a face value (x) issued from the bank 200, the payment of electronic cash is performed. Further, the settlement of accounts is performed between the retal shop 400 and the bank 200. Thus, the privacy of the user 300 is guaranteed and the illegal usage is reduced.
