PIPE BEAM AND LATTICED FRAMEWORK USING PIPE BEAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe beam for a latticed framework which is not deformed at both ends during welding to bolting joint and the latticed framework with high resistance to compressive force on a lattice point due to vibration in earthquake, etc. ;SOLUTION: To both ends of a steel pipe 1 as a pipe beam for a latticed framework, a steel plate 2 as a partition plate is fixed, where mortar 3 is filled to constrain the deformation of the steel pipe, so that thermal distortion and buckling deformation can be prevented. The compressive strength of the pipe beam is increased by the mortar 3 filled in both ends of the steel pipe 1 to ensure compressive strength near a lattice point for the latticed framework.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
