CAMERA FOR PHOTOGRAPHING VEHICLE CUTTING OFF STRINGING IN RAILROAD CROSSING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To photograph a vehicle crossing a railroad crossing when a signal line together with a stringing is cut off by accompanying the signal line for detecting the cut-off of the stringing with the stringing located in the lowermost position nearest the border of the railroad crossing and a road. ;SOLUTION: A conductor or optical fiber used for a signal line is spirally wound around a stringing 1a located in the lowermost position nearest the boundary of a railroad crossing 4 and road 5 or adapted to accompany with the stringing 1a to be both clamped at predetermined intervals. One end of the signal line 6 accompanied in parallel by the stringing 1a is connected to a signal source 6 and the other end is connected to a receiver 8. When a truck 11 having the height higher than the limit value of the height shown on a plate 12 crosses the rail road crossing 4 to cut off the signal line 6 together with the stringing 1a, a camera 9a is operated by a change in the reception condition of the receiver 8 to photograph the truck together with the number plate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
