PURPOSE:To obtain a dicotyledon having character with excellent growability by regenerating genetically modified dicotyledon cells. CONSTITUTION:A chimera vector having (A) a peroxidase structural gene derived from horseradish and (B) an extraneous promoter manifestable in plant cells is constituted and introduced into dicotyledon cells, and the resultant dicotyledon cells are regenerated into the aimed plant.
