PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow melting device and a snow melting vehicle, by which snow on both side lanes of a road can be removed and snow can be removed in a comparative simple structure and efficiently. ;SOLUTION: A snow-melting vehicle comprises a snow collecting plate 10 for temporarily collecting snow coverage forward in the traveling direction according to the travel of a traveling device 1, a vertical moving means 13 for vertically moving the snow collecting plate 10, an inclination adjusting means 16 for adjusting the inclination of the snow collecting plate 10, and a combustion gas generating device 24 for jetting a combustion gas flow 40 in front of the snow collecting plate 10 from a clearance between the road surface of the lower edge of the snow collecting plate along the lateral width of the snow collecting plate 10. A protective plate 22 for preventing the road surface from being damaged by the combustion gas flow 40 is provided below the combustion gas flow 40.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
